Description: 郭靖﹝黃日華﹞、黃蓉﹝翁美玲﹞結伴同遊江南，途遇北丐洪七公。七公好美食，蓉投其所好，以佳餚博得他授靖以降龍十八掌。 華箏、拖雷兄妹從蒙古來到中原，重遇靖，箏向靖重提親事。靖雖不欲背信於箏，卻又與蓉情投意合，周旋兩女之間，倍覺左右為難，久久舉棋不定。 蓉一怒返回桃花島，至此，靖才發覺自己深愛蓉，遂不惜千辛萬苦趕至島上，訪尋愛侶，孰料卻遇蓉父東邪黃藥師﹝曾江﹞多番阻撓。後因緣際會，與被困島上的老頑童周伯通結為兄弟，更得其親授左右相擊術及九陰真經，靖的武學境界，更進一步。 端與蓉冰釋前嫌，正當七公代向黃藥師提親時，西毒歐陽鋒﹝楊澤霖﹞亦偕姪提親而至，雙方遂起衝突。黃藥師決以比武定奪，連場惡鬥，隨即展開。 靖險勝，但卻因周伯通一番胡言亂語，引起黃藥師重重誤會，即被逐離桃花島。後幾經波折，一雙愛侶始能重聚，再度攜手同闖江湖。 楊康與完顏烈來到中原，密謀盜取武穆遺書以圖進侵大宋，事為靖、蓉所悉，誓保河山，靖因保護遺書，被西毒打至重傷，險至命喪，後得黃蓉相助，始能脫難。逃至密室以真經療傷，武功反而大進，而期間屢遇強敵，二人皆能捨身相救，感情更見牢固。
