Description: HO YEE (TSE TIN WAH, MICHAEL), the son of the owner of Hing Lung Pawn Shop in Foshan, has been addicted to gambling since childhood without losing a buck. Having spent three solid days at the gambling table, YEE is so completely exhausted that he falls into a faint. Luckily, a girl named TO LAI YING (CHUNG, LINDA) passes by and saves his life in time. YEE has located YING and is totally mesmerized by her beauty. YING, however, has a strong dislike towards gambling and gamblers. Life is always full of surprises and YING is later married to YEE unwittingly. YEE is resolved to give up gambling after marriage. But however hard he tries, he does not succeed. YING is bitterly disappointed in him. YEE does not seem repentant at all and ends up gambling away his wife… YING decides to study Medicine in Hong Kong.
